Acta Nova 1.2 Summer Release
Core functionalities of business case processing
Acta Nova in version 1.2 offers new functionalities, desired by the customers as well as optimizations in the use of existing functions. It’s now possible to define based on templates, if an official electronic signature is required on the document and how the printing of attachments and cover page has to be handled. This reduces the decision possibilities for the user and facilitates the whole dispatch process.
To quickly enter contact information of people and organizations Acta Nova in version 1.2 offers functions for quick data-entering. Besides the previous dispatch options you now also have the possibility of dual delivery via the third-party product HPC Dual. Due to the extension of Acta Nova to delivery profiles in version 1.2, it’s possible to print RSa and RSb letters.
Document management
Acta Nova in version 1.2 offers improvements concerning document management. When using documents from Acta Nova you now have a tray icon in the taskbar, which informs you actively about saving of a document and currently open documents. So you can see which documents from Acta Nova are open at a glance.
Workflow management
Acta Nova in version 1.2 offers various extensions concerning workflow management. Additional configurations of the behavior when rekindling business objects are available.
The new User Choice Activity functionality from Acta Nova offers even more flexibility for workflow control on the basis of concrete user decisions during the process runtime. Thus, it’s not only possible to make decisions based on set properties (for instance approved yes/no, budget greater or smaller than XYZ) but also to draw on answers to specific questions as a basis for decision-making processes. It is also possible to pose a number of questions in the context of a decision.
This new option adds further organizational freedom to the process design. A preceding User Choice Activity can be taken into due consideration at a later stage in the process through workflow variables.
Administration
Acta Nova in version 1.2 offers various extensions concerning configuration and administration. By providing dynamic modules, system configurations can be done during ongoing operation.
Furthermore Acta Nova in version 1.2 offers additional functions concerning administration and maintenance of specific data. Thus, specific data can be provided with initial values and specific data types can take the shape of a list.
To handle incoming e-mails additional finalization options are provided in version 1.2. It can also be configured that the e-mail is available as PDF in the application.
