Roland Hofmann, Head of Sales & Marketing at rubicon, held a presentation at the international e-government conference, 8.-9.03.2012 in Sofia, about „Electronic Records Management in the 21st century“.
In 2012 the event focused on current projects in the field of e-governance, stretching parallels between the successful models for an effective administration at service of citizens and businesses. Representatives of central, local and regional administrations, European countries’ organizations and institutions, consultants and IT companies discussed problems in the field of e-governance, best-practices and effective solutions as well as possibilities for cooperations and future improvements.
Acta Nova as a best-practice example for electronic Records Management
Roland Hofmann presented the international audience with Acta Nova a proven solution for business case management with document- and workflow management. In times of ever-tightening budgets, it is important to improve efficiency, productivity and quality of services. These tasks have to managed with the same or even fewer resources. Therefore no organization today can work efficiently without modern IT solutions for Records Management.
Especially in the downstream sector often not the classic electronic records management in the foreground, but rather technical issues and processing problems. With the available technologies and defined communication standards (similar to the XML-based interchange format EDIAKT-II) the possibility of an optimal cooperation between different systems (central and decentralized systems) is better than ever. The provision of web services and communication via standardized XML allows an efficient integration and linkage of key systems and business applications, without compromising the integrity of the systems involved. The goal is to optimise the cooperation of the systems involved and to ensure an efficient work environment for the users.
