The Austrian Coat of Arms was presented to RUBICON by the Federal Ministry for Science, Research and Commerce. The national coat of arms is the highest decoration awarded by the Republic of Austria. It is presented to enterprises that have made a special contribution to the nation’s economy through their outstanding performance and who hold a leading and widely acknowledged position in their respective field.

ISO Standard 27001 is a globally recognised information security standard for IT environments. The certification confirms that RUBICON has an effective information security management system in place. The requirements catalogue includes, among other items, guidelines on data protection, handling sensitive information, backup and recovery and risk consideration. The implementation of comprehensive security mechanisms guarantees an outstanding degree of IT security and information protection.

Acta Nova is certified for SAP's ArchiveLink interface. Via the interface, incoming and outgoing documents can be linked to the corresponding documents in the SAP system and stored in Acta Nova's content repository.

Metabase is one of the leading open-source business intelligence tools. Metabase lets you ask questions about your data, and displays answers in formats that make sense, whether that’s a bar chart or a detailed table. You can save your questions, and group questions into handsome dashboards. Metabase also makes it easy to share questions and dashboards with the rest of your team.

The PMA-certified project managers at RUBICON (Level C and D) have acquired specialised knowledge and extensive project management experience. After all, professional project management is a basic prerequisite for successful software development projects.

Scrum is a lightweight, agile management approach that brings transparency and flexibility to software projects. A certified ScrumMaster moderates, assists and guides through the development process.

ISTQB-certified software testers have an intricate knowledge of the tasks, methods and techniques of software testing. Professional implementation of the software testing process – from planning to specification, implementation and documentation of the test to final test evaluation – ensures the quality of the software.

The entire business and support organization of RUBICON is built up according to the international IT service management standard ITIL v3. ITIL's process-based approach significantly increases the efficiency and quality of services and service organizations. All employees in the Managed Services division are ITIL Foundation certified. In addition, there are key persons with expert certifications.

COBIT is an internationally recognized framework for IT governance and the management of company-wide IT. RUBICON is currently developing a risk management and governance model in accordance with COBIT 5. The employees in the Managed Services division have COBIT 5 Foundation certifications.

RUBICON is a member of the proEthik work group. The proEthik work group is a consortium of members of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce who set great store by ethical behaviour. RUBICON is committed to the code of ethics and behaviour of the professional group for business consulting and information technology in order to create trust and transparency through voluntary self-regulation.

The aim of PROJEKT 2028 is to increase the bee population in Austria and Germany by ten percent within ten years. To this end, committed companies provide participating beekeepers with a bee colony. The beekeeper, as a specialist, knows how bees are cared for and propagated and thus has a measurable impact on the number of bees. In the first two years, the bee population has already increased by at least 20 million individuals. In early 2020, PROJECT 2028's commitment was expanded to include wild bees.

respACT - austrian business council for sustainable development - is Austria's leading business platform for corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development. The association currently supports more than 400 member companies in achieving ecological and social goals economically and on their own responsibility.
