It’s that time again! rubicon is launching Acta Nova Version 2.0 in the Winter Release. Acta Nova Version 2.0 offers numerous new functions and improvements to existing application functions.
Core functions of business case processing
Acta Nova Version 2.0 offers new functions in relation to approval processes and activities. They include, for instance, a much-requested customer need: namely the mass approval of comprehensive business topics via the function of an approval container. On the one hand, the approval container enables pending approvals to be earmarked; on the other, it also enables the system to prepare automated recommendations for granting approvals. Executives in particular can benefit from this support function during their daily approval activities; it also creates additional free space for other activities.
The initialization of recipients in completion templates is another highlight of core functionality. It enables you to predefine recipients for completion notifications regardless of the mapped business case.
Extensions to special data and interfaces
Acta Nova Version 2.0 offers additional uses for the popular special data function. It is now possible to apply special data not only to objects and documents but also to persons and organizations. As a result, Acta Nova can be customized virtually without restriction to suit customer needs and wants with regard to master data storage. Additionally, special data has been extended to offer a mapping option for complex properties – as in the creation of property blocks – which can also be mapped as list values.
Acta Nova release 2.0 offers an option to make use of a Search-and-Show-Object function to facilitate the simple integration of business applications. This makes it possible to call up and return the searched object class on the basis of property parameters via the business system by calling up an Acta Nova function.
Additional support functions
Acta Nova Version 2.0 offers a range of additional support functions that make the software even more convenient to use. One essential new support function is an option to configure personal column settings. To this end, Acta Nova offers a set of popular column configurations that can be extended by additional options within the scope of standard use or as part of a project.
Acta Nova Version 2.0 offers a visual highlight in the form of an extension to the GUI. The browse function allows you to quickly and easily browse through business items from results lists and the work list. The browse function significantly speeds up the process of searching and reviewing business items from the work-in-progress basket. Highlighted tabs are, of course, maintained during browsing to provide the best possible support for the flow of information.
Administration and configuration
The administration and configuration module now also offers additional options to customize your Acta Nova installation. For instance, you can now define which Acta Nova buttons should be made available in Outlook.
There is also a variety of new, dynamic and global configuration modules for customizing your Acta Nova installation.
