The Swiss Federal Administration consists of seven departments and the Federal Chancellery. The Federal Chancellery is the staff unit of the Federal Council and acts as a link between the government, the administration, the Federal Assembly and the public. The federal government has a large number of template types such as letters, reports, minutes, etc. These must be available to more than 39,500 employees at all times. There are also specific templates that are only required by certain organisational units. Since 2007, the visual appearance of the Federal Administration has been governed by the Federal Corporate Design ('CD Bund'). This is designed to ensure that documents originating from the Federal Government are easily identifiable. One-Click Access to Templates via two Systems
All documents are based on standardised templates. These have been created by the template managers of the offices and departments. They can be accessed in two ways: Either via the GEVER Acta Nova business management system or via the template client. In both cases, the documents created can be edited until they are finished. This is easily done using the Office applications Word, PowerPoint or Excel.Modules ensure Uniformity across all Documents
The key features of the Swiss Confederation's corporate design are stored as modules in all templates.
