What data is processed?
The following sections provide an overview of the personal data we process on our website and the legal basis for the processing.
Server logfiles
In order to ensure the security and functionality of our websites, we need to collect and evaluate access data (website visited, time of access, browser, operating system, IP address). In the event of a security incident, this data is used to determine and eliminate the cause. The data is stored for this purpose for 12 months in accordance with Art 6 Para 1 lit f GDPR.
Contact forms
As part of processing your enquiry about our products, we process the data that you provide to us in the contact form. If your enquiry also concerns our partner products, your data may be forwarded to these partners in order to answer your enquiry. In this case, the processing is based on Art 6 para 1 lit b and f GDPR because it serves to initiate a contract with us and is in our legitimate interest. Your data will be stored for as long as is necessary to process your request.
As part of the registration for our product newsletter, we process the data (first name, last name, email address, name of company) that you provide to us in the registration form. For sending the newsletter, we work with Brevo, a service of Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany. The above-mentioned data will be transmitted to Brevo. Brevo is obligated towards RUBICON to comply with all requirements of the GDPR. The processing is based on Art 6 para 1 lit a GDPR because the registration for the product newsletter only takes place with your consent. Your data will be stored for as long as necessary for the provision of the service. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link at the bottom of each mailing.
Career Breakfast
In order to process the registration for our Career Breakfast, we process the data that you provide to us in the registration form (first name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number). The processing of this data is based on Art 6 para 1 lit b GDPR, because it serves to initiate a contract with us. Your data will be deleted 30 days after the Career Breakfast.
Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. There are two main types of cookies: essential cookies, which are required for the operation of a website, and non-essential cookies, which collect e.g. browsing and usage statistics. While technically necessary cookies are automatically stored on your computer or device based on our legitimate interest as defined in Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR, technically unnecessary cookies require your consent as defined in Art 6 para 1 lit a GDPR.
Some of the cookies used on our website come from service providers in third countries (especially the USA). Google Analytics
To enable us to evaluate and improve our website, we use functions of the Google Analytics web analysis service provided by Google LLC, a company based in the USA. Google Analytics enables us to create statistical reports on visitor activity and to improve our content and the performance of our website. As part of the use of Google Analytics, your IP address is collected, anonymised and stored only anonymously. The collected data is kept for 2 months. The use of Google Analytics requires technically unnecessary cookies, which are only stored with your express consent. We use Google Signals as an extension of Google Analytics. Signals is an alternative function to identify users on our website. Google Signals requires a Google account login and the activation of personalised advertising on your device.

Dealfront
dealfront is a web analytics service and evaluation tool operated by Liidio Oy / dealfront (Mikonkatu 17 C, 00100 Helsinki). For this purpose, dealfront collects the IP address of visitors. dealfront uses a cookie called “_lfa” and has an expiry date of two years from when it was first set. Marketing Pixels
Our website uses so-called marketing pixels. Pixels are snippets of code that allow us to collect additional information about our website visitors, such as how you browse and what kind of ads you click on.
