Mag.a Mikl-Leitner, Federal Minister for the Interior, visits RUBICON

On June 10, 2015 Mag.a Johanna Mikl-Leitner, Federal Minister for the Interior, visited RUBICON. In a brief address she thanked all employees currently involved
in BM.I projects.

The Ministry for the Interior (BM.I) is in charge of all Austrian security agendas including the federal police. Based on the standard software Acta Nova RUBICON has developed a tailor-made application for police event and case management that is in broad use within the ministry with currently more than 20,000 users.

The begin of our fruitful cooperation dates back to 2008. Several projects such as SIRENE für SIS II, Austrian-wide administrative penalty proceedings (VStV) and the BM.I Security app have been implemented as well as the case management software in the Federal Criminal Police Office and the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution and Counterterrorism.

The Federal Minister wished to acknowledge this long-standing successful cooperation with her visit. During an office tour she took the opportunity to get to know the people behind the ministry projects and to get an impression of how RUBICON works. In a short speech she thanked the staff for the outstanding cooperation and stressed the high level of technical know-how and excellent project management skills RUBICON employees display in their daily work.
