Components
- Module 1: Dynamic Designer – Creating Templates
The Dynamic Designer includes everything needed for straightforward template management and creation. It also controls template logic and the integration of external data. - Module 2: Document Creator – Automating Documents
The Document Creator handles the fully automated generation of documents via an API. Data and templates are retrieved and the documents are generated. In addition, the Document Creator enables the use of Microsoft Power Automate, allowing access to thousands of services. - Module 3: Active Builder – Further Editing of Generated Documents
With the Active Builder, documents generated from templates can easily be edited further. An additional Microsoft Word add-in is available for this purpose, allowing dynamic text modules to be inserted into documents at runtime. This means users can continue working in the familiar Word environment – while benefiting from the advantages of automated, flexible document creation. - Module 4: Cockpit – Simple Document Generation from Templates
The Cockpit gives end users the ability to select document templates via an intuitive web interface and populate them with LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) data as well as their own input, in order to generate the finished documents. This is particularly useful when documents need to be generated without a connection to a specialised application. - Module 5: Enterprise Document Factory – The Comprehensive Solution
The Enterprise Document Factory combines Modules 1–4 – Dynamic Designer, Document Creator, Active Builder, and Cockpit – and also includes the enterprise module Mass Printing.
With Mass Printing, you control the entire asynchronous process of document creation and distribution across various output channels, including print stream control for dark processing. This module therefore also gives you the ability to carry out mass printing via print streams.
